We are delighted to announce that we are now proud stockists of one of the biggest names in homewares - Gisela Graham. We have introduced her this season as part of our homeware offer, with gorgeous pieces designed to reflect in individuality of the home. From coloured glass vases, to hardworking throws and statement objets d’art*, we have it covered.
Our window display has been refreshed accordingly, and we have combined some of Gisela’s famous faux blooms in a range of coloured vases to complement our summer seaside theme.
We may well be the most land-locked area of the UK, but that will never stop me dreaming of sun, sea and sand.
Our new blue and white striped bud vase and patterned trinket trays (all by Gisela Graham) fit perfectly alongside our ceramic sea creatures and soft furnishings. More about our throws, cushions and rugs in a later post!

A personal favourite is this incredible sculptural bud vase. It’s the most wonderful olive green hue, and can be styled with some of your favourite blooms or left to it’s own devices - it is beautiful without any additions!
Anyone close to me knows I am possibly the least green-fingered lass in the land. Alan Titchmarsh would flinch if he knew the fates of some of my plants**, and therefore I am an avid fan of the faux flower and plant. Gisela does some corkers, and we have lots of lovely options available, from hydrangeas to bunny tails. You are more than welcome to bring your own vase in to style a bunch for yourself - it can be really difficult to guesstimate how many stalks you need, and what height works best for your setting.
We are at Harrogate this weekend for one of our favourite trade fairs, so I shall report back.
Have a lovely day,

*one my husband’s favourite phrases. It’s a French term, literally meaning "art object", used in English to describe a decorative work of art or decorative piece. My husband uses it to describe everything in both the shop and our house - occasionally including the dog and/or cat.
**I once killed an air plant. You know, a plant that requires nothing to survive except air. You do nothing with it, or to it, you just leave it be - and I managed to kill it. It would be impresseive were it not so tragic.
