The Finale

ree

All good things must come to an end - and the end hath come (so to speak). The final session saw our artists put the finishing touches to their creations. From adding flashes of colour and gilding highlights which added a touch of luxury to framing the pieces which elevated them to a professional standard - our artists did the lot, once again under supervision of the master, Jan Faulkner, himself.

The finished pieces are - if I do say so myself - FANTASTIC. No two are alike, and each composition reflected the individuality of the artist. Bright jewelled tones, moody landscapes and abstract forms based on natural phenomena were brought to life over a period of six hours. I’ve not been so proud of a group since my GCSE group of 2026 made their ceramic chickens (a story for another time perhaps).
